Punjab Market

Impeccably clean market with good selection of bulk turmeric powder. I will be back to visit this nicely stocked immaculate Indian market. The Neem toothpaste I picked up on a whim turned out to be wonderful. I'd like to add the guy at the counter was very friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English.

We love buying popped lotus here. They carry a brand and flavor I haven’t found anywhere else. Soooo Good! Friendly and helpful.

I was standing in line for checkout, and there was one person in front of me who had come to return some butter. The cashier told him that the butter was neither expired nor damaged, so he couldn’t accept the return. But there was a sign there saying that you can exchange any item within two days if you have the receipt. The man then got angry and said to the cashier, “I’m not going to argue over 20–30 dollars; I came to your store instead of another one.” He said this in anger. Then the cashier called someone (probably the boss), and that person also said, “Sorry, I can’t take it back.” So the man got angry, left the butter there, and walked away. I told the cashier, “Don’t mind it, a lot of people act like that. I used to work at an Indian store too.” At all I appreciate the patience of cashier. The prices here are also much better than in other stores.
